Resting

The drive from Marshall, Texas to Jackson, Mississippi was uneventful and calm. When we arrived, Pastor Michael Ferraro of Calvary Chapel gave us a place to shower and lay our heads in his church. After Hurricane Katrina, Pastor Ferraro’s church became a waypoint for many churches coming down to help in the aftermath of the storm’s destruction. The fellowship blesses people with a shower, kitchen, bathroom, and washer/dryer needs.

We are currently residing at Lacy’s family home-place, in Eupora, Mississippi, which was built a century ago by her great grandfather. Meeting old friends and making new ones has been a highlight of our time here in Eupora. We are also very blessed to have time alone with one another, to reflect on the journey here and to enjoy each other’s company. We are preparing for our trip home, scheduling work with people and keeping in touch with Lacy's sister, who's wedding is on May 12.
