We have wheels again!

After 9 extruciating days without a truck, the transmision was finally rebuilt and installed, and our truck was returned to us yesterday. It was sweet freedom to cruise down the road without being crammed into a car with other people. There is a true sense of freedom in your very own vehicle!

We have so far put abou $3,000 in repairs into this truck in the last two months, and are praying fervently that the Lord will protect us from putting any more money into it. We have literally replaced EVERYTHING except for the actual motor. The only problem we have right now is that we have no power steering because the pulley snapped off. So as soon as we purchase a new pulley and belt, we will be set (that is, with God's favor).

We thank you for your prayers during this trial. Without our truck, it is impossible for Joshua to work for our funds, so repairing it was a necessary evil. We have placed all of our donations in a separate account so as not to use them for the truck, so all the repairs have come from our pocket. The Lord has been gracious to provide Joshua with enough work in these last two months to pay for the truck repairs and also for our necessities of groceries, gas, and even a movie night last month! God is faithful, even when we are faithless. In this last month, he has taught us about his faithfulness amidst our doubt. We are astounded at his goodness, for when we falter in our faith of His provision and begin to worry and cry, He always provides exactly what we need.

It is our hope and prayer that we will be leaving for Mexico next weekend. Please be in prayer for us as we make last-minute preparations.

We are Josh and Lacy Webb. We married in 2003 as missionaries, and continue now together in our calling as a family to spread the love of Christ wherever he allows us to be. Believers are the ministry, the servants, of our Lord and Savior. the basis of His Ministry. We make up a web of servants, which stretches across the world, touching lives in many areas but connecting them all through us to our Lord and Savior, the Risen Messiah, Jesus the Christ.
