Why would you want resources in Spanish?

We have recently updated a new page to our webiste: Spanish Resources.

Have you recently viewed the statistics on the growing population of Spanish speakers in the United States today? The numbers are astonishing! Just take a look:

According to the U.S. Census of 2005, 42.7 million were of hispanic heritage. The U.S. Census Bureau also indicates that 12% of America's entire population of 5 years or older speaks Spanish in the home. Although Spanish speakers are largely populated in latin America and Spain, statistcs indicate (as of 2003) that America ranks 5th in the world's Hispanic population, only being surpassed by Spain (4th), Argentina (3rd), Columbia (2nd), and the largest Hispanic-populated country ranking at #1 is Mexico.

Even if you're not planning on site-seeing the beautiful land of Spain, or taking a plunge to the other side of the hmisphere in Argentina, or even just crossing the border to Mexico, you still need Spanish resources on hand.

You have probably heard, as we have, the old complaint that never dies:
"If they choose to move here, they should learn our language!"

I completely, 100% agree with you. However, that doesn't change anything. There are still thousands of Spanish speakers in America today, who are bound to a doctrine of works and indugences to earn their way into heaven, rather than holding to the promise of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. These Spanish-speaking people are devoutly religious, yet they will not see heaven through their good works, monitary donations to the church, or indulgences for favor with the saints.

If you have the good news of salvation, why would you withhold it?

Pray that God gives you opportunities to share these Spanish tracts and Bible Studies with a Spanish-speaking neighbor. It just may be that by your obedience to share the gospel with him, he will meet you in heaven some day! For a list of Spanish resources available on our site, click here
