Mexico????

No, we're not just itching to "cross the border" or "leave the country." Although this will be a big experience for us, and we're looking forward to the cultural exposure, this is truly the fulfillment of a burden that has been on our hearts for at least 8 months.
Nearly a year ago, I (Lacy) began itching to relearn the Spanish language (not that I was trying to relive the horror days of High School). At the same time, I met a friend who began introducing me into the Spanish culture, and soon Josh caught on.
It wasn't until two months later that a friend announced he was taking his family back to their missionary-home near Sonora, Mexico. He invited us along, but wanted to leave in October. Since the time was too close at hand, we feared that we could not make it that soon.
But fear is always an enemy, nd is never of God, for God does not give a Spirit of Fear, but of Power, and Love, and a Sound Mind. Several months went by, and the request became and urgency in our hearts.
And so, we put aside our fears and went for the plunge. We don't know how God will provide the money, how long we will be able to stay, or how great of an impact we will have. We just know that we are to go.
