God has provided every need that we’ve had in this mission, and now that we are on the road heading home again, we see his hand moving over us mightily. When we arrived in Tucson, Joshua had received an email from a brother-in-Christ that had set up a job with a landscaping company for him. However, when Josh went to sign up for the job, his spirit was troubled, and rightly so: the pay was less than what we needed to survive for the allotted time in Tucson. Alternatively, we began calling churches in the Tucson area looking for work to supply us with gas money to move on east.
The Lord blessed us tremendously through Beau and Karen from Calvary Chapel Fellowship by painting three rooms for them. We worked for a week, and then on Saturday morning, Wendell Scott out of Calvary Chapel of Tucson blessed us with a donation and gave us the opportunity to join several others from his church to clean up an adjacent parking lot. Today, I write to you from El Paso, Texas, where the Pastor of Horizon Christian Fellowship, Clift Barnes, blessed us with two nights in a hotel room and a generous donation for our gas. As they rent out the auditorium of an elementary school for worship, they had no work for us to do, but we were truly blessed with their hospitality and the fellowship that we enjoyed with the believers on Sunday morning.
Tomorrow, we are headed for San Angelo, Texas, to meet Pastor Tony Garcia of Calvary Chapel. We will then, later in the week, pass through Dallas Texas and Shreveport Louisiana as we make our way to my grandfather’s land in Mississippi, where I am looking forward to a family reunion at the end of April. Please pray that the Lord would supply us with contacts for work and fellowship in Dallas and Shreveport.
Thank you for your prayers in our ministry to Mexico and our lives as full time ambassadors for Christ. We intend to continue sending regular updates as our ministry unfolds with the Lord’s guidance. Please be in prayer, and feel free to visit our website and leave comments on any posts. We love hearing from those who are supporting us through prayer.
Sincerely,Lacynda Webb
