 Resting Up...

The summer is moving along fast.  We have enjoyed spending time with our friends and family in Evansville.  After a winter in Mexico and traveling for two months through the states to arrive home, the visitation and fellowship have been refreshing.  We are living with Lacy's parents', who have opened up their home and lives to us while we are visiting Evansville.  We are both working to raise our support for the coming journey back to Mexico.

While in Evansville, we've been serving in various ministries.  Lacy monitors the website of a youth organization that she grew up in, and we have been holding children's classes and speaking engagements at several churches in our area.  On August 10, we had the privilege of joining a church in Crossville, IL, for a community social, where we shared our testimonies of Mexico and shared the love of Christ.

Get Involved with missions
Openings are now available for people to visit Mexico and experience missions first-hand.  We have opportunities available, ranging from one week projects to several months of service.  Missions in Mexico are incredibly affordable, as little as $10/day.  The Lord has laid on our hearts a desire to be available for individuals or groups to come to Mexico and experience the beauty of taking Christ's love to the world.  From street evangelism, to construction projects, to one-on-one witnessing, the harvest is plentiful in Mexico, but the laborers are few.  Check out all the opportunities available at our website, http://www.freewebs.com/webbofministry/getinvolved

Our close family friends Uriel and Pati & Chrildren What we mean when we say "Relational Ministry"

Ministry is not just a dissertation. It's not just a sermon or teaching or leadership. Ministry, literally, is servant hood. The only way to serve someone is to be near them for a period of time to minister to their needs. Relational Ministry is the most effective form of servant hood. Why? Because Jesus spent three years with his disciples before he served them physically by washing their feet. Because he told them to make disciples out of all nations, not just converts.

Lifestyle missions is about going where God has placed you and flushing out the darkness of the world with the light of God's Glory. It's about making a habitual lifestyle that your neighbors see, and think, "I can ask him for anything, and he'll do it for me." It's about letting the kids in your neighborhood know, "I can go to her house and have someone to talk to anytime." Its focus is not the time or the organization of time. It's all about people.

They say an action takes 21 days to become a habit. But habits can easily be broken. So having a lifestyle of relational ministry is also about keeping your soul and heart pure and blameless before God. It requires the servant to be in the Word.....Read the rest of this article

We are Josh and Lacy Webb. We married in 2003 as missionaries, and continue now together in our calling as a family to spread the love of Christ wherever he allows us to be. Believers are the ministry, the servants, of our Lord and Savior. the basis of His Ministry. We make up a web of servants, which stretches across the world, touching lives in many areas but connecting them all through us to our Lord and Savior, the Risen Messiah, Jesus the Christ.

Want to find out how you can participate in sharing God's love in Mexico as an ambassador for Christ? Have a question to send our way? Want to subscribe to our mailing list? Just want to make a new friend?
