The trip from Las Cruces to Deming was a very short 45 minute ride, which was incredibly refreshing for a change! When we arrived, we initially stayed with the Carpenters, a family who opened their home to us for a few days. We attended a Christmas Eve service at Calvary Chapel, and then on Christmas morning, we were blessed with a large fellowship breakfast at the home of Mike and Vicki Chavez, and then a delicious fellowship lunch with Juanita Madrid and her husband. On Wednesday, Joshua taught on Ephesians 1 and the necessity of prayer, and spoke extensively about the mission and the ministry that God spent nearly five years preparing us for.
We had nearly 30 boxes of bibles, studies, and scripture booklets waiting for us at the post office, and because of the holidays, they filtered in slowly each day we were in Deming. At the end of four days, we had accumulated so much that we had to empty part of the trailor and repack it - a feat that I admire Joshua for taking on single-handedly! For the last two nights in Deming, Pastor Marshall Boyer graced us with a hotel room for some restful privacy before we headed across the border. It was so nice!
We are now preparing to cross the border in the morning. Please keep us in your prayers!

We are Josh and Lacy Webb. We married in 2003 as missionaries, and continue now together in our calling as a family to spread the love of Christ wherever he allows us to be. Believers are the ministry, the servants, of our Lord and Savior. the basis of His Ministry. We make up a web of servants, which stretches across the world, touching lives in many areas but connecting them all through us to our Lord and Savior, the Risen Messiah, Jesus the Christ.
