Construction Projects and Short-Term Mission Opportunities

The winter months will finally begin in December – praise the Lord! Winter brings mild temperatures and climate, which make for great ministry opportunities. Currently, in this sweltering summer heat, the days are too hot to make house visits, and by the night time, everyone is too drained from the heat to really enjoy a good visit. Even the Bible Studies and children’s meetings are hindered by swarms of mosquitoes and intense humidity. However, winter means the humidity will subside, the temperatures will drop, and the sun will be less intense. Everyone is anxiously awaiting the new season to change! All we here from our neighbors is talk of October being so close, because in the middle of October is when the temperatures will finally subside.

We have begun plans for ministry in the Winter, and are looking for help! There is only so much that two people can do, and it’s a great blessing when teams come from the states to help with a Bible school, or toy distribution, or street evangelism.

The following dates are open for individuals or teams to join us in ministry. Please email us at webbofministry@gmail.com if you would like to come down, and we’ll set you up with all you will need to get started!

December – Come share your Savior’s love and gift of salvation through a Christmas Gift distribution. Each team member will bring toys, clothes, and wrapping paper. We will take you into mountain villages that are so poor they don’t even have electricity. In these poverty-swamped villages, Christmas is usually gift-less. We will give out wrapped presents and share an evangelistic presentation with the villagers about the greatest gift of all – Jesus Christ. The gifts are a great way to share Jesus’ Love, and to share the story of Christmas. Christmas is celebrated here, but most Mexicans have not heard the full story of the birth of Christ, and many do not even associate Christmas with CHRIST.

January, February, March, and April –
Come four two weeks during one of these four months and have a life-changing experience!

During the first week, you will help us carry out an after-school Bible School, which we will send you before your trip so that you can learn the songs and motions for the Bible School, and practice wordless dramas. We will introduce you to school children who will want to sing songs with you, teach you Mexican schoolyard games, and play with you. In turn, you will carry out a week-long Bible School after each school-day, sharing Jesus’ love through games, crafts, songs, and a presentation of the gospel through puppets and drama.

During the second week, you will help us complete a construction project. By patching roofs, building brick walls, and painting homes, you will be able to share the Love of Christ through hands-on work and daily interaction with the neighbors in the village where you will be serving. Mexicans are always blessed to work side-by-side Americans, and are very interested in learning English. You will make friends very quickly, and go home with experiences that will last a lifetime.

You will have a translator with you at all times, so if you can’t speak Spanish, that’s okay! If you can’t stay for the full two weeks, we can consolidate your trip into one week. If you are interested in coming to serve during the months of December, January, February, March, or April, please email us soon so we can send you a list of what you will need to make your trip possible!

We are Josh and Lacy Webb. We married in 2003 as missionaries, and continue now together in our calling as a family to spread the love of Christ wherever he allows us to be. Believers are the ministry, the servants, of our Lord and Savior. the basis of His Ministry. We make up a web of servants, which stretches across the world, touching lives in many areas but connecting them all through us to our Lord and Savior, the Risen Messiah, Jesus the Christ.
