Pastor Sparky taught Joshua a few pointers on changing fluids on our *(new to us)* F250 diesel truck. We were worried that the steep inclines of the Ozark Mountains were taking a toll on our vehicle, but we are learning, quite cheerfully, that we've been blessed with a very good truck, a monster of a vehicle that can tackle just about any hill with a little patience and persistence.
Sparky and Mary Ferguson hosted us in their home for two nights, donated a 8 channel snake for our sound system, and gave us a new toilet for our bathroom that we will have to construct at our home in Victoria.
Wednesday night, we were were able to enjoy the company of Sparky and Mary's daughter and her husband for a nice italian dinner in their new home.
As we were packing on Thursday morning, Lacy tripped over a bedpost and lanced her eyebrow in the fall. She is healing, but it will take some time numbness to subside and for the true pain to come. Please keep her in your prayers.
We are now on our way to Ft. Smith, where we look forward to spending a couple of days with Pastor Steve Marquez and his wife, Monica, and their family.
