All the letters have reached their destinations now, and we're starting to get responses from people. We are looking forward to our dinner next Saturday, and hoping a lot of people are able to come. Donations have started coming in, and we're very thinkful for that.
Josh is working extra hard to raise as much as possible through his handyman jobs. He stays really busy. He is, of course, supporting us, but 60% of our income goes straight into the account for the trip. He's happy to do the extra work, but he stays tired, his normal days lately are 8:00am - 8:30/9:00pm. So I've been trying to help out, and not ask him to do a lot around the house lately.
I'm making clothes and knitting winter accessories and selling them to friends and family (so far that's anyone who's been interested. If anyone's looking for a simple shirt, dress, or skirt, I can make it for them too!!) The winter stuff is mittens, hats, and scarves. I'm also recording a little CD so I can sell it to friends and family for a little bit more money to save back. 100% of those profits go straight to our journey funds. Look for the CD to be ready in about 2 weeks.
